Details:
Maiko Palace “EMARSA” is a genuine Maiko transformation studio which is produced by the long-running “GOFUKUTEN”(business dealing with fabrics for kimono) which was founded 100 years ago and is supported by the Kyoto city Tourist Association and a member of the Transformation Maiko Dressing Association.
Kimono costs 1 million yen which is made using a rare hand drawn Yuzen-Dye-Style technique made by traditional craftsman. Makeup and kimono dressing are done by a group of expert staff with experience in the movie, TV drama and theatre industries.
Also photographs are taken by professional cameramen of our affiliated group Photograph EMARSA.
Make the best of your visit in Kyoto and experience a Maiko transformation today!
