Anyone in Japan who is familiar with pottery, ceramics and china are familiar with "TACHIKICHI", located in the center of Kyoto City. Originally started, producing Kiyomizu ware, now you can find countless different types of tableware perfecting your food presentation. From the display in the store window, to each floor, the store is beautifully decorated portraying the feelings of each season with flowers and décor.
The 1st floor contains original Tachikichi pieces. The 2nd floor has specially selected Japanese tableware. The 3rd floor has handiwork, industrial arts along with a spacious lounge area where you can relax. The basement floor is called “NEWS” where you can find pieces created by young new artists. Take your time, look around and enjoy your time at TACHIKICHI. Gift wrapping service is also available.
