Details:
You can enjoy superb Japanese cuisine made with local ingredients at its prime season. Mostly Tofu and Yuba based, you can choose from a variety of dishes such as noodles, Tempura, and Donburi. You can also request Kaiseki, Bento box, or Sukiyaki. Please let one of the staff know when you make reservations. The first floor of tables can accommodate 32 guests. From the window, you have a great view of Tetsugaku no Michi (Pathway of Philosophy) so you can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossom trees that were planted by Mr. and Mrs. Kansetsu lining the pathway in its prime blooming season while having a delicious Japanese style meal. The cherry trees that line this path are called "Kansetsu Sakura" because they were planted by Kansetsu Hashimoto (1883 – 1945) who was a famous painter and his wife. He created many famous pieces inspired by Chinese and Greek scenery. The second floor has one private Japanese style room that can hold up to 6 people. From here, you can see Daimonji Mountain, so it's best to enjoy a meal during the light up of the mountain and moon viewing seasons. You can also request for a seat next to the garden of Hakusasonsō or a special deluxe seat and enjoy your meal with a view of the beautifully landscaped Japanese garden and have a luxurious experience. Dinner at the special seats start from 4,000 Yen, Deluxe seats start at 6,000 Yen. (Entrance to the facility is separate)
